    The Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference has decided to cancel the full eight-game soccer schedule for the upcoming 2020 season. After initially approving a schedule, the MCAC has been forced to switch gears as the province is experience mini COVID outbreaks.     After delaying their decision for as long as possible, the RSEQ university athletic conference announced the cancellation of all fall sports Monday. The decision comes in the wake of COVID restrictions.     The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) will delay the start of all fall Olympic Sports until at least September 1st due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The sports in questioned that will be affected are men's and women's cross country, soccer and volleyball as well as field hockey.     Canada Soccer announced Wednesday that Kenneth Heiner-Møller will step down from his role as women’s head coach. Heiner-Møller took over the head coach role in January of 2018 from current men’s head coach John Herdman. In his short tenure at the helm the women’s national team went 20-10-5.
