Burlington, Ont. – Ontario University Athletics (OUA) is pleased to officially launch a new conference website dedicated to the celebration and spotlight of women in sport.

The new website will serve as an ever-evolving resource aimed at providing relevant information and opportunities, celebrating the accomplishments, and sharing the voices of the OUA’s female stakeholders, all in one centralized location.

Said OUA President & CEO Gord Grace, “The OUA hopes to help spark continued female participation and retention in athletics at the university level, empower future female leaders in the industry, and celebrate those who have already made their mark as influencers and champions. We see this website as another positive step to help us achieve those goals and build an even stronger foundation for women in sport across the OUA.”

Housing information for events and initiatives, resources, testimonials, and additional virtual pieces, this recently launched online platform will strive to be a go-to hub for women in sport content across the conference and beyond.

“Seeing this new website come to fruition is an inspiring next step for the conference as part of its women in sport priorities,” commented Sue Hylland, OUA Women in Sport Advisory Committee Chair. “Bringing together this wealth of information and making it easily accessible on a single platform represents tangible action that helps show the OUA’s dedication toward their female stakeholders.”
