2022 Men’s Soccer Coach of the Year: Glen McNabb – Brandon University (BU) Bobcats

Coach Glen McNabb became the third coach of the men’s soccer team after a teaching career in which he was the Principal of Tanner’s Crossing School in Minnedosa.

The Bobcat Alum as Head Coach led the team to the program’s first Canadian Colleges Athletic Conference (CCAA) appearance after capturing the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC) title following the 2021 outdoor season. The team then followed that up by winning the MCAC Futsal championship in 2022.

“Glen provides steady leadership for the Bobcat Men’s Soccer team. His positive approach produces a strong team culture and consistent results.” – Russ Paddock, BU  Bobcats Athletic Director

Glen McNabb – 3rd season: Guided Bobcats to first place with 10-0-2 regular season record; ten match winning streak; improved two points, one spot in standing from 2021; four All-Conference players on roster plus the Most Valuable Player; ranked as high as number 12 in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) national rankings.
